I'm sorry I spammed everybody with my out of office message. Didn't know it would do that here. Will try to keep it from happening next time. -JWF

battery charger question & klr start up

Post by Eddie » Tue Nov 29, 2011 7:41 am

Ya'll I have a question; I keep my KLR's on a battery charger and sometimes I'll start the bike before I unplug the bike from the charger (the charger is in turn plugged into the wall). Is that for any reason a bad idea? I read the charger's instructions and cautions and it was moot on that. Any comments? Eddie

<><><><><> <><><><><> Eddie, It probably depends on the battery charger but is most likely ok as long as the battery is good and fully charged. I wouldn't do it that way but I don't leave a charger on a battery once it's fully charged either.
