heat issues
Mr. Bill Watson has researched this very carefully. The Thermo-bob is
effective at keeping the bike from running too cool for maximum efficiency.
It doesn't make much difference in extremely hot conditions. There are a few
things one can do. Running more distilled water and less coolant, oddly.
Removing the radiator plastic shroud altogether, and running without a
skidplate will gain a few degrees.

Here's the schematic for a manual fan switch I mentioned:

It has been Africa hot in Florida this summer. Seems like the bike is
running very hot (but never seems to get the thermometer all the way over to
the right) not sure the cooling system is doing enough.
Faiirly certain all of the parts are working but would be more comfortable
if the bike was running cooler.
Any ideas?
