HELP !
I lost my garage space. I am going to have to park my KLR in an outodoor parking lot .
What are my best options for keeping the sun and rain off?
Also I'm not real comfortable about the security where I will be.
There's a lot of expensive options. And there's the covers on ebay for $.01 ,
But I was looking at just a tour master PVC cover that goes to the ground
and getting a 6 foot cable lock to put through through the wheels.
so far only about $70. Should I add a disk lock too?
What can I get that's better for the same $$ ?

pvc cover?
Unless you are chaining it TO SOMETHING, (worst case) It can be LIFTED into a trailer, truck etc.
There are Motion Etc. Alarms for about $140. +-, "Motorcycle consumer News" Di a comparison test on them a few months ago.

Well, have everything back together on my old KLR. Now have to find which connection is loosing it while running. I had changed everything out several years back to blade fuses all under the seat except for the fan fuse at the radiator. Don't know it opened up while riding but when stop and put it in neutral , if you gas it a bit and the green lite goes super dim, you know it's opened up. Today when that happen, I just jump up and came down hard on the seat and bingo, circuit closed. All was good. So, to morrow, gonna take all that stuff apart and soldier all connection and clean and grease all blade fuses.
Love putting about on the old KLR today.

pvc cover?
I have a Guardian brand synthetic cloth cover on my '79 CB750. It has withstood 3 years of California sun.
It still looks nice and the water beads right off. The KLR would require the "large" size. It cost me 100 bucks retail at the bike shop.
