shims?? - a 're-new' question

Agreed if "NEW" valves, now if cleaned up and reused.. possible maybe. Likely ? Kinda like all 12 eggs are good in the carton right, but we all open and check them anyway. Dooden A15 Green Ape (Not run, but got some sunlight yesterday at least)
