at the bottom of the above link, there are 'related articles'. such as this: http://www.motorcycle.com/how-to/kawasaki-klr650-project-bike-part-7-89013.html Claims a 3hp increase by 'just' bolting on Jardine muffler. Dyno chart info, hp, torque, etal. Just passing the link.... revmaaatin.

Just to add to the general merriment, the Imperial gallon is 160 ounces, the US is 128. There are minuscule differences in the size of the ounce, but if you aren't talking tanker loads, I don't think it matters. DC D Critchley

An American gallon is 3.78 litres which is roughly 20% smaller. 65 mpg in Canada is roughly 52 mpg in the

Two things that I find very undesireable with the metric system are temperature (we get half as many increments as the fahrenheit scale), and although are speedometers are the same size as the US models, we get 60% more increments on them. They can be hard to read at times. Larry.

hmmmm. N or S of the 49th parallel--Euro, Sino, Dakar, or down under: liters, imperial gallons, gallons US. cough. Doesn't really matter which one you fill the bike with-- if you run out of gas, it is one tough pig to push. Push it just once, it will cure you of math errors.... revmaaatin. (that is what I heard) cough. and just a point of interest: max range seems to me to hover around 45-50mph without lugging the bike.
