Hey All
A friends Dr200 se, (2007) has starting ISSUES!
1st. it sat 2 months with gas. and then wouldn't start.
Then she added 2oz. sea foam, then she put the gas tank lever in Prime, (oops)
and left it there the next 4 days, and gas drained into and filled the engine
and breather box (over 2 gal. )
I drained (& changed/filter) the oil well, and blew out the cylinder put new in
plug. it took a while but started and I had to keep playing with the throttle a
couple minutes to keep running, untill it stalls.
EVERY time I turn it over a few seconds, about 4-6 table spoons of gas ends up
in the breather box. you can see it seep in after I stop trying to start it. I
also had to re-dry the plug before the 3 times it started for a minute.
(fighting with the throttle, each time.)
ANY HELP OUT THERE?

Seems like the best way to go is HID conversion kit. The price has come down and HID uses less juice.
There are drawbacks like the fixture/reflector is not made for HID and the high voltage could be dangerous in wreck with gas leak.
But, Halogen bulbs (I mounted an extra light, too)just use too much juice. And the Halogen Xenon Blue 5000K+ are a scam.
The PIAA Halogen bulbs cost as much as an HID kit.
I cannot keep my 50w/100w Hella bulb on 100w with my H3 70w for long
esp. below 3000 rpm if I want it to start with the electric starter.
There is always the higher output stator. But, HID is cheaper.
