Whats the Hyderseek,i assume you mean Hyder in Alaska just across the border here in Northern B.C.,as i live not far from there Houston B.C. i was wondering what i missed out on.                                                              Stu. On the way back I checked my tyres and found that the front is down to the wear bars, and the rear has not much left. This is on an '08, Michelin Anakees. The mileage is 32,000KM on the front, and about 16,000KM each on the rears (2). 190lb rider, about 40 lbs of gear, all pavement at 60/65 mph. Inflation was 36/38 Front, and 42/44 on the rear. That's about 20,000 miles on the front, and 10,000 each on the two rear tyres. FYI. The Hyder Seek is an annual trek to Hyder Alaska to commemorate Ron Ayers record breaking ride, a few years back, when he rode through all 49 continental states in under 10 days. Every year more riders complete the same ride and have their picture posted on the wall of fame at the Sealaska Inn. Other riders go up there just to partake in the festivities. "Hyderise"Been there done that,in 81 i was working in an old Gold mine up there exploration drilling near the Grand Duke mine,gold was at $800 an oz,we worked 25 days strait then our drill broke down so we went into Stewart to the King eddy Hotel and had the Alaska king Crab feed followed by the hyderisation. The second shot didn't go down to well and most of the crab ended up on the Sealaska dance floor,"What a waste"Crab and 190 proof,got a good laugh from all in attendance though,had many a boozy weekend up there over the years.                                         Stu,older and wiser now,"Sometimes"
