heated vest recommendation

Post by gerhardtdon » Mon Feb 08, 2010 2:40 pm

Does the group have a recommendation for a heated vest. I checked the past posts however I wanted to get the latest information. Does anyone also have a recommendation for a battery for the vest so it can be used for hunting and other outdoor activities. What are the best controllers? Thanks Don

heated vest recommendation

I say "Gerbing" for a few reasons.   Countdown to #1   4.has very  high rating in "motorcycle consumer news" and other Mag's.   3. It's what BMW sells and they usualy sell the best (or close to it.) (Aerostich has GREAT ones)   2. Beside's QUALITY, AND All ready PRE wired for gloves so you don't have to run 2 sets of wires all over AND little pockets to stuff the wires for gloves so they don't Flop in the wind.   1. what we have ALL been waiting for. BETTER SIZING, not just s,m,l,xl, but they also carry differant body and ARM length.   I have a LARGE frame with longer arm's, 50+ chest big shoulders, so EXTRA large usualy has shorter arms I need tall.       From: gerhardtdon To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Mon, February 8, 2010 3:38:54 PM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Heated Vest Recommendation   Does the group have a recommendation for a heated vest. I live in Ga. No snow. No ice and I see a solo adult driving a pristine 4wd SUV carrying *one* child with great frequency. And yes, they speed like they are invincible. They seldom have anyone else in the vehicle at all, never go off road and are known to use a hand held cell phone while: Texting. Feeding a child in the back seat(!). Or Are reading a newspaper. Applying makeup. Writing on a note pad on the airbag.   The list goes on.   I don't even own a cell phone. Like I once said on another list, If I need a phone to report an accident, I'll just take it from the driver's hand. :)   eddie
