klr 685 stainless valves question

I am in the process of installing my 685 piston kit to a different bottom end. I plan to replace the rings even though the top end has only about 10k miles. I noticed that Schnitz sells stainless steel valves. I will need to relpace at least the exhaust valves in the motor that I am rebuilding. The price for the stainless valves is very little different from the stock OEM valves. What is the benifit of using a stainless Valve over a stock valve?

The 685 kit has a piston that has clearance in the crown for oversize  valves.  The Schnitz stainless valves are oversize:  39mm (intake) and 34mm (exhaust).

Mark, You are the ride-stud-muffin post of the day! Did you get your engine sorted out? Could you post a picture of your loaded bike--and then tell us what photo file it is in. Also curious, are your rear AL bags beveled on the lower leading edge F| | \_____ or are they 'squared' to the bottom leading edge. F| | |_____ It would seem to me that a 2-3" beveled edge that the high end boxes have would also be safer. (I hope the crude drawings remain intact. I was trapped under my buddies bike when I 'dabbed', foot stuck/drug in the mud and the bike continued forward over my leg. It was all a near instantaneous affair. The same happened to him. 2x The boxes were the type with 90degree corner at the lower, leading edge. revmaaatin.
