Yahoo sometimes won't show messages from Juno accounts but sends the original message. Hopefully this comes through. Below is what I sent to Thomas. Best, Jeff <><><><><><> <><><><><><> Thomas,
Last winter I did a bit of research on the need for torque plates for KLR cylinder boring. The advice I got from the "experts" was torque plates were not needed for the KLR650 cylinders. What is needed is making sure the cylinder doesn't get "hot" during the boring or honing process.
Best, Jeff Saline

The temperature at our Edmonton International Airport was -46.1C
yesterday, breaking the old record for this date which was -36.
The coldest place on earth yesterday was in Siberia, at -48C. -46.1C
is -51F, and people wonder why global warming is not a critical issue
here, we are at 2100 feet so the sea level change of 4 to 10 feet,
(depending on whom the guesser is), is not a terrible worry either.
But it is supposed to go all the way up to 30 F (-1.5 C) on Friday,
anyone for tennis?
