ride report, pics, and one video from the last two weekends

Post by guymanbro » Mon Sep 28, 2009 3:34 pm

I got two weekends in a row of two wheeled fun on my KLR. 9/25-9/27 at the ADVrider CroMag campout in Silver Lake, VT and 9/28-9/20 at the Black River Stages Rallymoto event as a volunteer. Almost 1300 miles in two weekends (I know it doesn't touch 30k in a month, but who would want to on a KLR). Anyway, follow these links to see pics and a short narrative of my rides. Thanks for sharing Da Vermonster! Great postings. My only experience riding in VT has been on bicycle. Seems like a great playground. Good pictures and ride report. 1300 miles on knobs is a lot IMO. Must ask - what forks do you have on her? Was it a plug and play swap using stock triple clamps? [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

I did too Jeff, but it was still worse than I expected. I was expecting one finger. That was nasty. I feel bad for the guy. I always spin the tire by hand, and I spin it backwards with my hand on the bottom run, and against the frame. Gosh, I hope I don't knock my masterlink clip off..!
