nklr - harleys

Post by Rick McCauley » Tue Aug 11, 2009 11:41 am

I was one of those dummies that did a lot of shooting without earplugs. My Father-in-Law educated me on the wisdom of ear plugs. Sure less painful with them. Rick A17

Harleys do have a sort of tractor type sound unlike a high pitched Jap bike on megaphones (music). Hell for some reason I used to go watch indoor short track races in the seventies with 2 strokes on expansion chambers (no silencers). Couldn't hear for 3 days afterwards. But the loudest other than jets or rockets is Top Fuel Dragsters or Funny Cars. I go see those races when they pass through. You will see tards hanging by the fence at the starting line with no ear phones, plugs or nothing. Say Whhhhuuuuut? ??? Guns are also really bad for your ears. I have 2 friends that have been around a lot of guns (including Viet Nam). They are just about totally deaf. speed bleeder

How does this thing work? My guess is, it has a one way valve that will release fluid after opening it a half turn or so and pumping the brake. But nothing is happening. Should I try filling the new brake line first, then bleed? Thanks, Dave
