After exploring the resources and suggestion everone gave me I beleive I have come up with my best deal Dairyland was by far the best for the money I requested a rate for basic liabiliy coverage for 2 bikes (2002 & 2006 KLR 650) They quoted 250,000/500,000 (Bodily Injury Liability) $100,000 (Property Damamge Liability) for $75.75 per year I did not believe I needed Comprehensive, Passenger, or Personal Injury Protection (bikes are too cheap, no passengers, have great health ins) I know Dairyland has been in the business a long time and have never heard anything bad about them. That is my 2 cent worth. Hopes this helps others. Dairyland is a good company. Depending on your states laws,
If they offer uninsured and underinsured coverage you should
get it at the same level as your liability coverage. This is to cover
you if someone with little or no insurance messes you up.
I also have 250,000/500,000-100,000 liability not because
I need to be protected at that level if I cause an accident but
so I can qualify to buy the uninsured and underinsured at that
level so I am covered if the other driver is not.
