Hi Guys,
I'm forced to give up riding due to back problems. Plus I'm preparing to relocate so I'm selling off some parts. I've got listed on ebay right now, an EBC oversized front brake disk, Eagle RL-1 raising links, and Russell braided front brake hoses. My eBay username is jamiswolf.
Not listed yet is a really clean front brake caliper. I purchased the caliper to install on a sidecar but chose to not do that. Email me for a picture if interested. It should be on eBay in a day or two unless I make a deal earlier.
And finally I'm selling a 1999 KLR650 with a Sputnik Russian built sidecar. It's assembled and ride-able, but the bike needs to have some suspension work to be safer. It wallows quite a lot. The sidecar is light (200 pounds) and this is similar to what Jay at Dauntless motors put together. He was my inspiration. I'd beef up the front forks with heavier springs, same on the rear and some people go so far as to install a swaybar. Most of the work is done. Sidecar lights wired. The installation brackets came from Dauntless motors. Mileage on the bike is 16,386 and has the doohickey updated. It was a senior owned bike and never thrashed off road. I'm really not sure what to ask but I have over $3,000 invested and lots of work.
Email me for pictures if interested. It's located at my place in rural SE Iowa. I have a car hauling trailer and could transport it within...Oh say 400 miles which would include Minneapolis, St Louis, Kansas City, Omaha, Chicago. I'd need money for gas and one night in a Motel.
Hope everyone is well and getting geared up for a great riding season...
James
