front brake upgrade kit
Although I don't have the 320mm rotor, I have seen variation in pad
dimensions. I think some aftermarket companies do this to
meet 'price points'. I used to work for the 'Great American
Chocolate Company' and as component costs increased, the price stayed
the same but the ounces decreased. In a way I saw this with the
Parts Unlimited (PU) pads. They have less metal and have a smaller
pad surface than a DP pad or the OEM pad. You think that it is a
good deal (price) but you are getting less pad for less money -
really not saving anything. I ran the PU pads for a while and
noticed that their smaller surface area increased my stopping
distances by 100'-150'. You might be able to run smaller pads if you
use stainless steel lines that do increase the efficiency of pressure
transfer between you and that pads on rotor.
