nklr--waterproof bag
List,
Ah, winter.
The season of KLR-dreaming.
All sunshine and bright skies!cough.
Days and days of dry gravel roads with a gentle crosswind.
no, not really.
Reality:
If you travel by motorcycle very far, you are going to get wet.
Your stuff is going to get wet.
You are going to be cranky.
An Ad I saw today.
If you do any traveling/thinking about traveling--this might be
something to consider.
Guide Gear Roll - top Dry Bag

Sounds like a good piece of gear.
If I did not have the Seattle Sports Bags, I would give one of these
a try.
Price? You decide....

nklr--waterproof bag
An important note about the bags you see at Sportsmans Guide
They are a 700-denier nylon shell with TPU waterproof coating. This is NOT
the same as the heavier duty PVA bags like Seal line, Dry bags, Ortlieb...
They are more flexible and easier to roll and pack but they are not the
rugged bags you might be thining of.
I use some of the TPU coated nylon bags to keep cloths and sleeping bags in
inside of the PVA bags. I can pack them in the tent then go put them in the
PVA bags on the bike, sort of a second chance water barrier because I hate
putting wet clothes on and I hate wet sleeping bags.
How I pack it is in the following link. Keep in mind that I wrote this to
keep my thoughts straight on what I found worked for me.

By the way. I see packing stuff on the bike as being part of how you use
your bike therefore negating the need for the nklr tag

Careful, if it gets any colder in SoCal, you could put your eye out with
one of those things.....
