careful with your air filter box mods blown engine alert

I fixed my buddy's bike like this: I retrieved the nut and cleaned it with brake cleaner. I sprayed the plastic where the nut is supposed to be with brake cleaner.I took paper towels and sprayed them with brake cleanerand cleaned the nut mounting area as best I could using right angle allen wrenches. I took Q tips soaked in brake cleaner and a hemostat and cleaned the nut mounting area again. I took epoxy and mixed it up. Then, I took a cable tie, dipped it into epoxy and painted the edges of the air filter nut lightly so as not to get any epoxy into the threads. Then, I stuck the nut in place. Next, I quickly threaded the wing screw into the nut without the air filter in place. Then, I used the wing screw to quickly push the nut back out and turn it 90 degrees and pull the nut back into place....Finally, quickly unscrewed the wing screw and held the nut in place with my finger for a minute. NOW ISN'T THIS MUCH MORE INTERESTING THAN DISCUSSING PALIN? WINGNUTS VS. WINGSCREWS?
