<><><><><><><><><> <><><><><><><><><> Luc, Sounds like you had moisture in the systems. My conservative guess is for you it should be every 6 months. If at 6 months you don't find any contamination then maybe extend the interval to once a year. And probably make that a flush in the fall if you ride less over the winter than the rest of the year. I suggest that time as if the bike is stagnant any moisture contamination would tend to settle at the lowest area and it could/will probably cause corrosion issues. This same idea goes with doing an oil change before storage to get contaminants out of the system so they can't "settle in" and damage engine parts. In my environment I can probably safely go 24 months or longer without changing brake fluid as I'm in a drier environment than many. But I still change my brake fluid every year. It only takes me about 20 minutes to do front and rear including set up and clean up.
