Unlike the KLR, this (EBAY) thing is a real 'maintenace pig', but you already knew that. cough. There are numerous hospitals that fly own these things and wish they did not. revmaaatin.

It's been a long time in the works, but the new Scootworks site integration is finally online. We started this gargantuan undertaking this past February, and 2 of us have been writing code non-stop ever since. We are located just down the road and receive daily shipments from one of the largest motorcycle parts warehouses in the US. As a result of our long time relationship and annual volumes with them, we were able to negotiate a deal to allow us to handle over 7 million items and provide deep discounts to all of our customers...both online and local visitors to our Zebulon facility. We typically stock around 32,000 SKU's, and knew this would take a lot of work. If you visit our site and either click [Shop Online] or click the [Warehouse Gateway] image on the main page, you'll find many new categories in our shopping menus loaded with new items at great prices and discounts. Our new site addition is running pretty good, though we're still working on lots of things like links to the correct categories, debugging our dual server setup, and such. We'll be installing dropdown menus to most categories to hopefully make our menus less intimidating to shoppers. We suspect this will take a few days yet to have up and running as smoothly as we'd like, but we hope the savings we're passing along will make it worth the aggravation of little quirks you might find along the way. If you go there and shop around the site, be aware that there are dual shopping carts at this time. You might put items in your cart and wonder "hey, where are the other items I've put in here?"...but don't worry, keep shopping...it'll be come obvious when you're ready to check out. We're working on an application to merge both carts automatically (and transparently) for the customer, but we have a work-around in place for now. Just select whatever items you like, and when you're ready to check out, read the bold red instructions in the cart it'll walk you though the simple process that will combine both carts in two clicks (at the most). There are load of new deals in the works we're working on something with Helmet House right now, that should make for a sweet deal for deep discounts to our customers on all of their product lines as well. We're building our in-house inventory even larger, for what we hope will be the best upcoming riding season ever! Go to www.scootworks.com and click on [Shop Online] or the "Warehouse Gateway" image in the middle of the page and check it out. If you have any problems or questions during this debug phase, please drop me a note to support @ scootworks . com . Dave; www.scootworks.com
