Yes with a small funnel you could add through the valve hole, oil
will go down into fork, but no way to measure how much oil is in the
fork that way. Since you measure fork oil with the springs out of the
tube since they will displace the oil and give a false measurement.
Could I suppose in a pinch drain oil from bottom, and add a exact
amount back in them.
Somebody might know how much.. the Fork oil I bought comes in 1 liter
bottle I believe and I use just under half a bottle per fork, when
done I had maybe 3 ~4 oz left in the bottle.
And yes braking sucks when fork oil drips onto brake pads.
If possible loosen the "top" pinch bolts of the forks, and then the
fork caps should turn out. (Providing the caps are flush with the
triple and not already way up like in crate position about 3" up)
Want to say (from memory) 190mm down from the top of the tube is
where the oil level should be, thats without the springs/spacers in
the tubes.
