Yea, the hinge / locking mechanism broke on the one side. I starded
to wonder what would have happened in a crash. This helmet was 6 yrs
old so maybe it should have been replaced before it broke.

Or better, use a teaspoon and your thumb to compress the foam a
little in that area.
