assistance regarding lowering klr

Post by Jefferson Johnson » Sun Mar 16, 2008 7:03 am

Thanks for the input from all. The responses varied from not lowering at all, 1 inch, 1.25 inches, 1.5 inches. And a local KLR rider told me to go 1.75 inches. So I took the average and lowered it about 1.25 inches. Seems to work OK. Jeff Johnson

tire sizes for klr - another newbie question

Post by Jefferson Johnson » Sun Mar 16, 2008 7:09 am

My bike is not available right now and I am trying to order new Conti tires online. Can someone provide me with the recommended tire sizes front and rear? 1993 KLR 650 Sorry, I could probably look it up but not sure where and don't want to be wrong.
