Does anybody knows any good trails around Sacramento Ca. area? that wants to share.

If ya want to travel about 2300 miles almost due east I know more trails/fire roads/National Forest roads than I can shake a stick at. Crapper now is I live in the Chicago area and have to travel 5 hours north to get to them again. Go to your local National Forest and get their trail maps. You got lots of National Forests in the Sierras near Sac, only real problem is that anything above 4500 feet is gonna be snowed in.

In the '60s, there used to be a lot of trails along the American River, right in (or pretty close to) town. My GFs sister had a trail 90 I used to take over there; I would run into all kinds of guys riding dirt bikes. Dunno if those are still open, or if they have been 'civilized' into jogging paths.

My daily riding and commuting is all paved and some highway. It did not take me long to find out that the Karoos are all the wrong tire for the job.
