Try the Pivot Bolt Designer Kit from PivitMasters. It comes with an extensive variety of wrench heads, shoulders, and threads in different materials, sizes, finishes and colors and a tube of high torque anaerobic adhesive. Fred,,,,,jk

clutch grabs

Post by Gordon P » Wed Jun 20, 2007 9:49 am

After the bike sits overnight, or even after my 12 hour dayshifts, when I put the bike in first gear it clunks big time. One time, after a few days of inactivity, it actually stalled immediately. It's done it since the first time I had it home from the dealer. I changed the oil at 350 km (just 'cause I wanted to) but even with fresh synthetic oil, at the right volume, it's still doing it. The clutch adjustment seems OK (by the lever and the fact that after the initial clunk it shifts fine). One time, without starting the bike, I put it in first and rolled it forward letting the clutch out and it took quite a bit of force to brake the plates free of each other. Ideas???? tia, Gord
