1986 kl600 o/s piston and rings

Post by wburn2000 » Fri May 18, 2007 1:24 pm

I need some info on a first over set piston ring combo for my 1986 KL600. The Kawasaki site is non descript for first or second over. I find part numbers, but don't know what is what. Does any one know a good aftermarket supplier for a piston ring kit, Wiseco, anywho? I want this back together , I want to ride. Wayne.Rice.Burner Chester, NH No dirt for now...

Look at the KLR650 pistons and compare the info. to the KLR600 pistons and I think this is the answer(verify before using): Piston/Rings STD, 13001-1211/13008-5067 L, O/S, 0.50(mm) 13029-1141/13025-1082 LL, O/S, 1.00(mm) 13027-1136/13024-1073 ronayers prices; pistons $92.13, rings $45.95 HIH Fred

Thanks for the info Fred, can any one else verify these numbers as being correct for first and second over before I place an order? Thanks, Wayne --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, "kestrelfal" wrote:

I agree with Ed. I have a 29" inseam. The height took some getting used to, but now it feels natural. I can't put both feet on the ground, but it doesn't bother me at all. Ross Lindberg Fertile, MN --- In DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com, "fasteddiecopeman" wrote:
