jardine pipe install problems

hi...has anyone installed a jardine rt-four pipe on their klr? i got most of the way through it but the hanger just doesnt seem to line up with the rear mounting bracket. Does it just have to be muscled into place or should it be easier? any advise is appreciated. ( i wasnt in much of a rush to get it in but am now after seeing that the stock muffler is about twice the weight of the aftermarket one.) thx
