What is a good bag of nuts and bolts to take on long trips away from
mechanics? Does anyone carry a hacksaw to shorten longer bolts?

If I was going to carry some spares I think I'd look at the stuff that falls off and get a few that will fit ones that want to go missing. Places I'd consider would be side covers, battery hold down, fairing and radiator shroud mounting hardware. I think a hacksaw would be over kill but a guy could carry a hacksaw blade or 1/2 of one and hold it in a vise grips if needed. I like having JB Kwik, radiator stop leak, duct tape and stainless steel safety wire available on a trip. Those are items I seem to use. Well, not the radiator stop leak but if I didn't carry that I'm sure I would need it. : ) Best, Jeff Saline ABC # 4412 South Dakota Airmarshal Airheads Beemer Club www.airheads.org The Beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota 75 R90/6, 03 KLR650, 79 R100RT> What is a good bag of nuts and bolts to take on long trips away from > > mechanics? HI, The MEFOs are available now. I put on a set today. Took off the bald
rear stock Dunlop ~2500 miles. I can feel the difference especially going
from close to bald to knobblies. I can feel the vibration, not a big thing.
