fan on temp '05 klr
Fan on 94-100 C (201-212 F)
Fan off 91 C (196 F)

and your right. I'm thinking at 38yrs I might be needing reading
glasses.
Now ,I do not know this to be a rule but my experiences have made me
think that e-clips are used on less critical points that what a c-
clip would be used on.
Kinda think the others may be right and this e-clip never came off
your bike.
How does the "rust factor" look compared to the two other e-clips on
your bike.
did this clip come of a lift jack or lawn mower wheel etc.
