I just installed a battery voltage moniter (tammys) and this year bought a gerbings jacket liner 77 watts at full power. (too hot at full power) anyway at 2K plus the battery voltage is 12v+ at 4-5K on up the voltage drops to 11.5-12v without load. The more load (vest, turn signals etc) brings the voltage back up to 12+. It is like the voltage regulater is cutting down output at higher revs to avoid overcharging battery. Big B A-4 16K A-6 26K

Without getting into brand specific products like the stuff for Toyota and Honda you will find if you read the ingredient label and the specifications that most of the products being marketed now are the Dex-cool formula whether they say Dex-cool or not. This includes the Prestone green stuff and the Zerex, etc. Tom Zangla wrote:When I was at Advanced Auto Parts I picked up some antifreeze for my Malibu and started reading the info on the back. It states that it is made for all vehicles that have ALUMINUM radiators. It was $9.88 a gallon, straight product not already mixed 50/50. A 50/50 Prestone/Water mix = -34F/-37C and +265F/+129C A 70/30 Prestone/Water mix = -84F/-64C and +276F/+136C Would this be good for our KLR's ZeeGadget Archive Quicksearch at: http://www.angelfire.com/ut/moab/klr650_data_search.html List sponsored by Dual Sport News at: www.dualsportnews.com List FAQ courtesy of Chris Krok at: www.bigcee.com/klr650faq.html Member Map at: http://www.frappr.com/dsnklr650 Yahoo!
