[Scott Critchfield]

Does anyone know if any special modifications or hardware are needed to fit an FMF Q to an '05 KLR650? I tried the recommended tweaks for the stock muffler, and I'm just not pleased with the results. Besides, I really like the performance of the Q on my Gas Gas 450. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Scott [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

No mods needed. FMF offers a Q pipe for the KLR that bolts right up, Been running one on my KLR this last year. Pat G'ville, NV

Is it loud ? must assmue "Q" means quiet. Need to rejet ? Just curious, kinda like my sneeaky bastard special OEM myself. Dooden A15 Green Ape

It will pass the new 96 db test for public lands, about .5 db quieter than a quiet Laserpro. Not near as quiet as stock but a long way from obnoxious. Pat G'ville, NV
