Hello! I just found my answers at Carls Elden's Mutisurface Motocycling! Just a few minutes after posting my questions! He has added a lot of stuff since I was there before. He will rebuild your rear shock and put a big spring on it for $425. This includes anodizing. This sound interesting? retrofit kickstarter to pre-96

Post by Jim Randall » Thu Oct 06, 2005 2:25 pm

I looking through some of the old posts I see that some people have retrofitted a KLR600 kickstarter to early (pre-96) KLR650s. Is there anyone currently on the list interested in doing this? If so, please reply off list. Thanks, Jim
