sagebruish machine case mounts

Post by Chuck Chiodini » Thu Apr 07, 2005 4:20 pm

Hi! I have the top carrier rack and "off brand" pelican case side bags from Jake at SageBrush Machine. Unfortunately, during a recent trip to the Copper Canyon, my right side box had a hole burned in it from my SuperTrapp exhaust gasses (The heat shield on the box fell off). The boxes aren't Pelican cases but a more reasonably priced copy that Jake recommended. I've forgotten the brand and can no longer find Jake's website or get an e-mail answer from him. 1. Is Jake OK and still in business? 2. Anyone know the name of these boxesand where I can buy them...cheaply? Thanks in advance! Chuck Chiodini

Thank you Norm for sharing your knowledge like that. Very generous of you to spend the time to type that all out. I'm saving that post in my reference library! When I first heard of sharpening drill bits, I said, "Huh??!" I didn't even know it was possible. I was probably 20 years old (yes, I had a childhood sheltered from mechanical knowledge). What a great skill to have. Posts like yours make this list what it is -- a great resource. All the Best, Matt in Boise
