folks: i am looking for any one who has had some experence with riding the trans amercia trail on the vernable klr650. if you have done this and would be willing to discuss your findings with me, it would be appreciated. thank you billm

Check out the TAT website for some stories, and then check out www.rtw101.com as these two have two stories there about riding the trails on their KLR's. Ron in MN

Hi Bill, I did Tennesse, Mississippi and Arkansas last year-----the trip is well documented with text and pictures here: http://www.bigdogadventures.com/TAT2004.htm -----it will tell you a whole lot. There were 4 KLR's---and some other oddball brands :) Only the KLR's finished it tho----I can rub it into those Beemer riders since I have one :) If you want to talk to me about it-----send me an e-mail and will yak all you want !! How about a ride on the TAT over the Rockies and into Moab just in time for the Canyonlands Motor Classic?
