My front brakes are very `soft'.
... and,I hold these truths to be self evident:
It is not air in the lines.
It is not from soft(expanding) brake lines.
The caliper is perfect.
The pads do not completely release.
When pumping master cylinder to bleed the brakes,it squirts-up (you
know, trying to jump out of the reservoir) a lot more than normal!!
Can I fix the master cyl. with a common rebuild kit?
Or should I replace the plunger PN 43020-1065?
Is there an adjustment I should check?
Is this a common issue?

blowing lights fuse upon starting...
The fuse is a 15A. I bought a digital meter and am ready to start
testing. I did find a wire with exposed copper (blue wire under
seat, over black inner fender). It rubbed on plastic, so I'm not
sure if its causing a short.
Do I test with the battery connected? Any tips would be helpful.
Electronics concepts are over my head, so please answer as if
I'm 5 years old!
Thanks alot!
