These are expensive as hell, but I like the idea quite a bit. Bar-end helmet locks. Of course you can't use them if you have barkbusters on. http://www.barender.com/ -- ___ ______ _____ __ ________ ___ / _ |< < / == / ___/__ / /_ /_ __/ / __ ____ _ ___ /__ \ / __ |/ // / ****/ (_ / _ \/ __/ / / / _ \/ // / ' \/ _ \ /__/ /_/ |_/_//_/ == \___/\___/\__/ /_/ /_//_/\_,_/_/_/_/ .__/ (_) 8600 miles*Russel Lines*Supertrapp Race* /_/ http://www.panix.com/~cesser/mybike/

Been doing alot of 2-up riding so far and find the KLR excellent for this. The only shortcoming has been lack of a 2nd helmet lock, I was hoping some of you more innovative list member's might have found a way to remedy this. Thanks Bykman "Rider of the Great corn desert"

Bykman, Go to your favorite MC store and pick up a set of helmet lock extensions (usually sold in a pack of two). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=35580&item =2483100359 Slipped through the D-ring of each helmet, they will give you the added room to connect two helmets to the single lock. I carry a steel braided cable with a loop on each end. They often come in a package with a padlock. I can use the cable to secure a couple of helmets and a bunch of riding clothes to the helmet lock. I don't use it often, but every once in a while I'm very happy to have it along. -Lujo bykman2000 wrote:

Check this out at www.sporttouringusa.com I got one of these for the wife's bike as the helmet lock required removing the seat. http://www.sporttouringusa.com/www/helmetguard.htm Just a thought!! Ron in MN A16

The simplest solution is to get a thin choker dog collar. Use this chain, through the helmet D ring, to padlock it through the handle bar brace, luggage rack, or something similar part. I suggest a dog collar because it is about the right length, finished, smooth & rust proof.

My wife and I ride 2 up on my A18, and when we lock our helmets we put the both on the stock lock. We have to put hers on first because of the buckle on hers. Joe A18 SE Ky. --- rsanders30117 wrote:
