great mechanic available in n. ca

Post by allenmaxfield » Thu Jun 03, 2004 8:33 am

I recently had $750 worth of work done on my KLR By Member Keith Saltzer. Keith is quite active on the list and I thought I should pass on the fact that he is a very good mechanic. He does absolutely great work: super clean installations; he is a perfectionest to a fault; he keeps neat, typed, detailed records; he shops around and knows where to go to get the best prices on parts; he is also very, very reasonable cost wise. He has helped out quite a few members in the past. You can drop off your KLR or stay and work on it with him. You can even fly him out to pick up your KLR, or he can take you to the airport so you can fly home(Oakland, San Francisco, or Sonoma County airports. I thought someone out there like me, who doesn't have the time, knowledge, or garage space for making repairs, might need some help as I did.

I think the whole "Jackass" event can be summed up thus: "Post in haste, repent at leisure" Peace CA Stu
