tubeless tire flat repair
I changed the tires on my '81 SR500 using the same tire irons I carry on
the KLR. These were tubeless Dunlop K591s coming off, and Avon Super
Venoms going on. They were a little harder to lever off than tube type
DOT knobbies, but not really a problem.
Remember, if you get a flat you will likely have run on a low or flat
tire for some distance, the tires will be hot and very pliable. Try to
get them off the rim while they're still hot. Breaking the bead will be
the part that is a little more difficult. but again the heat will help.
Or just ride until the bead comes off.
