You don't have to do all the seals and water pump part of the procedure if you're careful ** foot stomp **. Look at step 8 for the section on the oil strainer. You can also see the procedure at www.multisurfacemotorcycling.com under the KLR650 procedures page. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't try to do this 30 minutes before leaving for work on your KLR. Also, plan on changing the oil and coolant.
