replace license plate bulb with led?
KLR Folk:
What is the bulb used for the license plate light? Have folks replaced this bulb with an LED variation?

nklr bought a goldwing
Sam,
If that old Goldwing is in any decent condition whatsoever, you'll
get a ton of good riding out of it. My wife had an 81 that I bought
her in about 1995 with 51,000 miles on it. She put on 45,000 miles,
most of them pulling a trailer loaded with bicycles, before I sold it
last year. It would run 80 mph all day, didn't overheat, wasn't too
bad on tires, didn't use any oil and couldn't be killed even with my
poor maintainance which the last three years consisted of an oil
change every spring. Just on hell of a bike!
I always wondered what happened to it after I sold it. Then I ran
into a kid riding it last fall. It had 110,000 miles on it and he
had just returned from a 3000 mile road trip!
Well, just couldn't resist comment on the Goldwing - Have a Happy New
Year and watch out around them garbage trucks...
George
