The DRZ350 cover by Acerbis is an easy adaptation, and cheap at about $35. Here is a link host by Mark t Hilaire. http://klr6500.tripod.com/acerbisdisk.htm Real KLR disk/fork protectors do come up on ebay occassionally but these end up being very pricey, usually about $50 for a used set. good luck, MarkB> Anyone aware of a reasonably priced Acerbis front brake cover for > 2003 KLR 650?

Mark, thanks for the bit o' advice on the disk and fork covers. Nice
website too--very informative. Ebay is nice, but not always the
right price!

Could'nt or Would'nt ?
I am sure they can be turned, but is there enough stock left, or are
they marked to spec for minimum thickness ?
Nobody respectable would do such a thing as turn them without knowing,
the liability would huge. In this "sue-happy" country, is it worth
the chance ?

Wish judges could reverse stupid cases like this, and make the person
sueing pay whoever they are sueing the amount they want, when its
determined to be a stupid case. Maybe it would free up the legal
system from the burden it has of this stupid crap.
