klr camping...

I don't think there are any panniers that will fit this stuff. In the past, I have crammed it all in a duffle and then bunjied that to the back of my XR's. I am hoping to find something a little more graceful for my KLR. I looked into the rev pack tourbag, but I have read that you have to relocate your turn signals with that bag. anybody here know otherwise? Thanks, Technology has the answer, if you have the $. I have a down bag that packs to coffee can size, as does my pad. The tent packs to 5" diameter and 16" long. All will fit in small backpack or pannier, with space left over. Catalogues like REI give packed dimensions for their products, so you can compare sizes/costs of these modern ulralite goodies. Expect to shell out $300 - $500. Before I could afford this stuff, I just strapped a medium duffle bag lengthwise (if no passenger is along) on the seat and rack - almost any tent/pad/bag will fit this way. Happy camping! This just in from "The Great White North", Hey Bogdan, Why not try a 40 year age differential? Try adopting two 20 year olds........ But then again...... At your age your probably not wired for 220..... On second thought you'd better stick with the 16 y/o spread..... If she puts up with a character like you she's a keeper Take care my friend!!!
