Anyone else have the problem with stoplights not seeing them? How do you remedy it? Is that red light gizmo on ebay the way to take care of it? -j.

red lights.....

I believe most that have tried that call it "Snake Oil", so actually will lower the kickstand to trigger them. Up here we dont have them, so I dont worry about it, some just wait for it to clear and drive, some have reported that if the traffic device is non-functionable it is legal to proceed if the traffic is clear, some have reported they have called the city and reported it not triggering for a legally registered vehicle and the city has responded by adjusting the sensor values. Or you could do like I guy I once knew, if the light was green he could go straight, if it was red, he turned right and circled until he got back on his path, of course this was after a few too many on the way home and his big ole dressed out Hog was too heavy for him to balance at a light. ;-) Could always have Jake make ya a nice steel yo-yo and play with it at the intersections while waiting for the sensor to pick up the yo-yo as it goes up and down. red lights.....

If I have good visibility, I just wait out one cycle and then run 'em. If I don't have good visibility or it's something major like a divided highway, I just go down the road until I can turn around some other way. There's a goofy light I face every night coming home, it's a 4 way but is functionally a 'T' because the opposing side is actually a parking lot and not a street. That sucker never trips for the bike, luckily the drugstore is busy enough that their delayed half of the green is pretty constantly in demand, I just slip through on their green by watching the cross signals.

I'd vote for doing that. I'm pretty bad at remembering to send to the group instead of the individual. __Arden
