We should invade Canada and take their bikes. ;) --- In DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com, "bkowalca" wrote:

Look, I wouldn't snipe at any individual's poor facility with English, but this is a sample of what Yamaha put on their website for everyone to read: "Moreover, the centre of gravity is preserved at low by using the engine like element rigidificator. The new XT is ready to face the escarp es streets of the great agglomerations." I want an element rigidificator, or will when I get older. Sheesh, couldn't they affort to have someone translate properly? You gotta read the whole website, read it aloud to someone you want to laugh. It would be great if it came to the US, but please... these things are heavy enough, why put dual exhaust on it? I'm a believer in this Yamaha motor now that I have had a chance to put some miles on one. No more ShimCalc for valve adjustment, no more Doohickey woes, real power out of the box. Life is good. You tried that once, in 1812, and we had to come down and burn Washington. :) Douglas Dick Winnipeg, MB CA mailto:ddick2@... look at www.engrish.com It documents and celebrates the (mis)use of the English language. Primarily Japanese examples, but a few from other nations. The front brake rotor I have on my KLR, (to fit a drz400 wheel), which cost $49.95 new, is made by a Czech company "Titax". The slogan on the rotor packaging reads "You are under our shield. You are in a shelter RIGHT NOW!" mhrudy@... wrote:
