klr sighting in des moines, ia

Post by cb750fsuperspor@webtv.net » Wed Jun 11, 2003 11:19 am

Since I`ve been interested in getting a KLR 650 (for a year now) I just seen my first one in my town this morning. Southbound on 6th ave, going past North High school at 8:15 am. Was it anyone on this list? Would like to hook up with a fellow KLRista in my neck of the woods, soon has I get one? Any contributors out there? lol

Well, if "Bowling for Columbine" can win an oscar as a documentary... Last book I read was "Bravo Two Zero" by Andy McNab, an SAS officer who was captured by the Iraqis during GW I. (Thanks for the loan, S2.). Going to start on "Proficient Motorcycling," and have to re-read "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" sometime before the next LA-B-V ride. Krokko -- Dr. J.
