Like Fred said to an earlier post, just make sure the pads are seated properly and meet your rotor flush and not at an angle. Since your rotor is new, you should also verify how true it is as installed. Bedding in brakes takes some time, and I don't believe it's very important the technique you use. Two things to keep in mind are: don't do too much braking in too short a time which may cause heat build-up, and: until they are fully bedded in and you are confident in their stopping ability, don't ride around cagers or in town. Taking your time to not overheat, should take no more than an hour or so. I don't have a fork brace, but it makes sense that riding surface transmission to your hands would increase. Comes with the territory....... The Mule

If you don't need a powerful one, I would suggest getting something with an Intel celeron processor due to being cheaper. Of course if you're like me you'll want more power! LOL, anyway, I just purchased one of the top of the line HPs and carry it on the bike all the time. I bought a very well padded laptop bag and just set it in the Kawasaki tail luggage bag. You may want to consider a laptop that is a year or so old with less performance than a new one if you don't need anything special. Check the requirements on your software before buying. You can get a brand new laptop with a Celeron processor for $900 or so. It's all in what you want.
