nklr - forgive me kawasaki, for i have lusted in my heart

Just saw that KTM now has a couple of pictures of their up and coming 950 Adventure, but no price yet. It seems to be the only bike I'd be willing to give the KLR up for, but it'll probably cost more than twice as much. Sorry for the NKLR post. Please forgive me.

Ye can repent by gently stroking your KLR's fenders... Dooden Maybe 3 times the price... Thats ok, I was fiddling with a Suzuki DR650 and had a tiny bit of lust going on too, seems so.... small and maybe fun to off road with. Take it out and give it some Rumpy Bumpy...

Geeez. That bikes a porker. Too many cylinders. Way too much HP. A new design rather then one thats-how old now? Cost has to be asssstronomical. Where you gona buy accessories and doohickeys? Nice looking exhaust though. Orange and black? -----Original Message----- From: davidlwilhite [mailto:dnmwilhite@...] Sent: Friday, November 01, 2002 6:06 PM To: DSN_klr650@yahoogroups.com Subject: [DSN_klr650] NKLR - Forgive me Kawasaki, for I have lusted in my heart Just saw that KTM now has a couple of pictures of their up and coming 950 Adventure, but no price yet. That works for the motor but may not take the tranny into account. On old airhead Bemmers the general belief was that shifting before 3,000 was hard on the tranny bearings. That got me into the habit of shifting latter rather than earlier. Remember people telling you that nothing good ever happens after midnight? I say nothing good happens to your engine below 3k RPM.
