shi#$y shift lever

Post by jsc350 » Sat Jul 27, 2002 12:57 am

Just wanted to tell the people on the list that have not purchased a aftermarket shift lever or reinforced their stock one to DO SO NOW. I heard all the warnings from past posts but always found other things my bike needed instead. Well Friday afternoon the shift lever did me as it has done many others. Only 12,000 miles on my A15 and the lever breaks. Whats next? Hope this is not a snowball effect. Jerett A15

18 ft-lbs is right. Mark's got a good deal KLR torque values (as well as lots of other neat stuff) listed at his site. Torque values are found there under "Procedures" http://klr6500.tripod.com/ Scott A14 "thunderdog" Sorrento, Fl In a message dated 7/27/02 11:00:14 AM Eastern Daylight Time, pbouldenv@... writes: >
