I'm a subscriber to Rider Mag and that article was in the issue before last. When I read that article, I thought that it was pretty critical of the KTM and kinda redundant. Engine vibes? Hard seat? No kidding ?!? What the hell do they expect, it's a very focused, hard edged bike!? Those guys should get their act together and test a KLR. A _REAL_ all around bike. No one respects the KLRs like the guys that own them. Stu> incase you want to run out right now and buy a copy. > > Karl

They did, and they liked it. It was a '97 and they haven't changed much since then (bummer, eh?). __Arden klrz4ever> around bike. > > No one respects the KLRs like the guys that own them. > > Stu

Arden, maybe an article idea would be to follow up on where the KLR has gone since then. Maybe show how the bike does it all, like enduros to long tours.... with some of the after-market products, and owner ingenuity.... I cannot imagine a more flexible machine on the market... Arden's 97 review of the KLR is what made me take the old XL600R down and sell it to get my 98 KLR. Gone now, though....we'll see how the beemer P-D handles things....it certainly is BIGGER.> > No one respects the KLRs like the guys that own them. > > > > Stu > They did, and they liked it.
