2001 klr650 fer sale

Ya know, there are folks on this list that will nit-pick anything into excess, and cause folks who have no knowledge to second guess their choices based upon someone elses likes and dislikes. Goes with tires, goes with oils, goes with movies, goes with restaurants, goes with just about everything.. There will never be a perfect product for all the masses unless you make your own for your own needs. I love my Wolfman. Larger than the Kawi bag so it'll hold more stuff, fits looser than I liked, but hey, it was designed for the GS1150 not the KLR, but it does have a good shape that can be worked. Does it hit the bars? Yes, there have been a few times the bag hit my horn button, but oh well. I moved the bars again and the horn stopped. Imagine that. I like it. It's rugged, holds a lot of stuff. Is it perfect, no, but then what is. Your use will be different than mine, your expected use will be different from mine. I adapted the bag to fit my needs because there was not another bag out there that came close to meeting my needs. So, as with dual sporting in general, you must compromise. I like my Wolfman. Anyone have the new KLR specific mounting system for the Wolfman? The old style works fine but can be a little tricky to latch up after a refill. Nice bag but for some reason it won't ride the bike for me when I get tired. Don't know what's wrong with it. Karl A14 love the green.

I got one of the first "new" Wolfman bags with the KLR specific mounting system. Basically you attach the straps to the two screws on the front of the tank where the side panels (front pieces, not the side-side panels. I'm in the middle of a brain fart and can't come up with the correct name) attach at their top. Easy to move for fill- ups, and easy to reattach. MNRon

I don't want to rain on anyones parade either but if someone broke their kill switch, that's a bone headed thing. It's not Wolfmans fault that folks zip the double zipper up to the top right hand corner. They are actually to be zipped to meet in the front just above the pocket. This allows easy and quick access to the contents from the riders perch in the flight deck. geez...some folks just never think things through then blame the equipment.... Sorry, if I pissed anyone off but I'm beginning to tire of folks that can't figure stuff out then blame a manufacturer. This ranks right up there with the "I don't like it cause it makes my horn blow when I turn the bars. Geez, turn the bars back so it doesn't press in the button then loosen the strap, and slide the thing back. reposition the darn thig. Geez. Or how about the complaint that the map window is too small and your map won't fit. Well refold the darn thing to fit! It's not a difficult thing folks... Lefty Loosy, righty tighty Don't spray oil on your tires to make the high beam come on flip the little switch, then if you wanna turn it off, flip it back and all that stuff Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. Quit whinning. If we lived in a perfect world there would be no morons, 'eh? I guess Mark Twian was corect when he said that "Common sense is a very uncommon thing" Swampy Callin' it as I see it.
