I'd love to have a "Professor.jim's traveling KLR tech road show" and make a living by traveling Canada & the USA, but I don't see how this could work out financially. Just do it, you don't need so called gurus to host it, there are quite a few knowledgeable listers out there. Maybe you could make it non-KLR specific, after all a lot of questions involve things like tire changing, electrical poop, carbs, suspension set up, etc. You could combine it with a short D/S ride & let the experienced off road riders so newbies how to do it in the dirt. I was invited to attend a wedding on July 7th in L.A., time isn't the problem, I can't attend for financial reasons. Now if I could just figure out a way to charge all those rich Californians $100 per person for a weekend event .... hey, RM & I could have a battle of the charging systems & see if his Electrex upgrade really beats my stock setup.
